Keynote speakers for the CERE 2023:
We are happy to announce our keynote speakers for the CERE 2023: Prof. Batja Mesquita and Prof. Andrew Ortony who have had great impact on the field of emotions. Both of our keynote speakers released seminal books on emotions this last summer. Together these wonderful scholars represent the sprit of CERE in its interdisciplinary nature. We are proud to host them at Haifa.
Prof. Mesquita is a social psychologist focusing on culture and emotion from the University of Leuven in Belgium. She released Between Us: How Cultures Create Emotions in July 2022
Prof. Andrew Ortony
Prof. Ortonty is a cognitive scientist and professor emeritus of education, psychology and computer science at Northwestern University in Illinois, USA. He released with Prof. Clore and Prof. Collins The 2nd edition of The Cognitive Structure of Emotions in August 2022.
